BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Titan Consultants is leading the comprehensive project to replace the existing and failing culvert system. This project encompasses a wide range of activities to ensure a robust and efficient drainage solution that enhances the safety and functionality of the affected area.

Project Scope and Features

1. Demolition:

  • Safe and controlled demolition of the existing culvert system, including removing deteriorated and obsolete structures.
  • Careful handling and disposal of debris to minimize environmental impact and disruption to the surrounding area.

2. Utilities:

  • Relocation and protection of existing utilities to prevent service interruptions during the replacement process.
  • Install new utility lines to support the upgraded culvert system, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.

3. Clearing & Grubbing:

  • Comprehensive clearing of vegetation, debris, and other obstructions from the project site.
  • I am grubbing to remove roots, stumps, and organic material, preparing the ground for further construction activities.

4. Grading:

  • Precise grading to create an even and stable base for the new culvert system.
  • We ensure proper slope and drainage patterns to facilitate efficient water flow and prevent future erosion or flooding.

5. Fill and Compaction:

  • Strategic placement of fill materials to build the project site as needed, ensuring a solid foundation for the new culvert.

  • Thorough compaction of fill materials to achieve the required density and stability, preventing future settling or shifting.


6. Spoils Haul Off:

  • Remove and properly dispose of excess soil and debris generated during excavation and grading.

  • Adherence to environmental regulations and best practices to minimize the impact on the surrounding ecosystem.


Project Goals and Objectives
The primary objective of this project is to replace the failing culvert system with a durable and efficient drainage solution. Key goals include:

Site Safety and Health Officer Scope of Work

  • Conduct daily safety and health inspections, maintaining a log of inspected areas, dates, hazards, corrective actions, and completion dates. Submit daily reports to the QC Manager.
  • Conduct mishap investigations, complete accident reports, and report near misses.
  • Use and maintain OSHA’s Form 300 to log work-related injuries and post Form 300A on the site safety bulletin board.
  • Attend pre-construction, mutual understanding, three-phase quality, and progress meetings.
  • Review, approve, implement, and enforce the APP and Accident Hazard Awareness (AHAs) for compliance with EM 385-1-1.
  • Maintain applicable safety reference materials on-site.
  • Establish and maintain a safety deficiency tracking system.
  • Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals and their Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
  • Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities and be prepared to discuss details during Quality Control Progress Meetings.

Quality Control Manager Scope of Work

  • Documentation and Oversight:

    • Maintain project submittal log and quality control reports.
    • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project specifications.
  • Meetings and Reporting:

    • Chair weekly QC meetings, document discussions and action items.
    • Provide daily QC reports on construction activities and address non-conformances promptly.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings to establish and maintain work quality.
    • Verify materials for compliance with approved submittals and ensure proper handling and installation.
  • Construction Coordination:

    • Conduct pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and superintendent.
    • Coordinate testing and commissioning of building systems.
  • Documentation and Closeout:

    • Maintain project “as-built” drawings.
    • Compile and submit project closeout documents including O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranties.
