We successfully served as the Superintendent for Amerind Contracting on the construction of the NNSA–AOEC Shipping & Receiving Building in New Mexico. This project showcases our expertise in delivering critical infrastructure under the nation’s highest security standards.
The Challenge: High-Security, Mission-Critical Delivery
This project was executed within the highly demanding environment of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), an agency responsible for core U.S. nuclear security missions. Construction on a facility like a Shipping & Receiving Building required absolute precision, uncompromising quality, and strict adherence to specialized federal and security protocols.
Our Role: Superintendent & Leadership
As the on-site Superintendent, our leadership was the central force driving the project to completion. We were directly responsible for:
Operational Control: Managing all daily construction operations, logistics, and personnel movements under the contract’s unique requirements (89233124RN000223).
Technical Oversight: Coordinating all trades, materials, and specialized installations to ensure the facility met stringent NNSA specifications for a high-security support structure.
Safety & Compliance: Maintaining an impeccable site safety record, which is mandatory for all projects within the Department of Energy’s complex.
Result: Completed and Fully Operational
Through rigorous on-site management and expert coordination, the NNSA–AOEC Shipping & Receiving Building was completed successfully and on time. This delivery provided the NNSA with a robust and fully compliant operational asset, demonstrating our capacity for executive-level project leadership in the nation’s most sensitive facilities.
