Removal and Disposal of Non-Functioning Piping and Associated Materials

This task involves a comprehensive process to ensure the proper restoration of the tank and all pumps to optimal working condition. The detailed scope of work includes:

  • Inspection and Assessment:
    • Conduct a thorough inspection to identify all non-functioning piping and associated materials.
    • Assess the condition of the tank and pumps to determine the extent of removal and replacement required.
  • Preparation:
    • Plan and coordinate the work to minimize disruptions to operations.
    • Obtain any necessary permits and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Set up appropriate safety barriers and signage around the work area.
  • Exposure and Access:
    • Perform all necessary operations to expose the non-functioning piping and associated materials, which may include excavation, cutting, and temporary removal of obstructions.
    • Ensure safe and secure access to all areas requiring removal and replacement.
  • Removal:
    • Carefully remove all non-functioning piping, valves, fittings, and associated materials.
    • Utilize proper tools and techniques to avoid damage to surrounding structures and systems.
