RECREATIONAL FACILITY
OFFUTT AFB, NE W9128F-21-C-0051

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, has awarded Covenant Russell LLC a contract valued at $11,858,003.06. Covenant Russell is a self-certified small disadvantaged veteran-owned business and a service-disabled veteran-owned small business. This firm-fixed-price contract is for designing and constructing the Consolidated Recreation Facility at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.

This project originated from a sources-sought notice aimed at identifying small businesses capable of constructing a 940-square-meter consolidated recreation facility and a 270-square-meter equipment storage building at Offutt Air Force Base. The estimated value of this project was initially between $5 million and $10 million.

The contract expressly set aside for small businesses emphasizes supporting small and veteran-owned enterprises. The scope of work includes designing and building the recreation facility and equipment storage building, ensuring that the structures meet all required standards and specifications.

This contract’s period of performance extends through December 2023, by which time the project is expected to be completed. This initiative highlights the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ commitment to enhancing infrastructure at military installations while supporting small and veteran-owned businesses.
