Venice Dredging, Sarasota County Florida
The Venice Dredging project included maintenance dredging of shoaled areas in the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) and Venice Inlet. The required dredging depth was 9 feet MLLW with 2-foot allowable overdepth and 7 feet MLLW with 1-foot allowable overdepth.
All dredged material was beach quality and was placed in the beach disposal area, immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work included turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring and beach fill quality control.
TITAN provided QC Management and Turbidity Testing to the project.
