BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Lodging Facility Overview

The new lodging facility will encompass approximately 400 guest rooms spread across 171,200 gross square feet (GSF). It will cater to public and administrative needs, with dedicated areas for guest services, floor support, and back-of-house operations.

Guest Services and Amenities

  • Public Areas: The facility will feature standard public guest services such as public toilets for convenience, a fitness room for guest wellness, and a guest laundry facility for added convenience during extended stays.

  • Administrative Spaces: Administrative areas will include offices for administrative functions and a conference/training room equipped to facilitate meetings and educational sessions.

Utility and Mechanical Systems

The new facility will integrate comprehensive utility and mechanical systems to ensure operational efficiency and guest comfort:

  • HVAC Systems: State-of-the-art heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems will maintain optimal indoor climate conditions throughout the facility.

  • Plumbing: Modern plumbing systems provide all building areas with reliable water and sanitation services.

  • Fire Alarm and Suppression Systems: Advanced fire alarm and suppression systems will be installed to ensure the safety of guests and staff in case of emergencies.

  • Elevator: Elevators will be provided for vertical transportation within the multi-story facility, ensuring accessibility for all guests.

  • Information Technology (IT) Systems: Comprehensive IT infrastructure, including telephone, local area network (LAN), cable TV, and other IT systems, will be integrated to support guest connectivity and operational needs.

Supporting Facilities and Infrastructure

  • Site Work and Utilities: Associated site work will include landscaping, vehicle parking facilities, and utility installations to support the facility’s operational needs.

  • Antiterrorism Force Protection (AT/FP) Measures: The facility’s progressive collapse design will enhance its security and resilience against potential threats.

This comprehensive approach ensures that the new lodging facility meets its guests’ comfort and service needs and integrates modern technology and security measures to enhance overall operational efficiency and safety.

Site safety and health Officer  Scope of work

 

  • Conduct daily safety and health inspections, maintaining a log of inspected areas, dates, hazards, corrective actions, and completion dates. Submit daily reports to the QC Manager.
  • Conducted mishap investigations, completed accident reports, and reported near misses.
  • Use and maintain OSHA’s Form 300 to log work-related injuries and post Form 300A on the site safety bulletin board.
  • Attend pre-construction, mutual understanding, three-phase quality, and progress meetings.
  • Review, approve, implement, and enforce the APP and Accident Hazard Awareness (AHAs) for compliance with EM 385-1-1.
  • Maintain applicable safety reference materials on-site.
  • Establish and maintain a safety deficiency tracking system.
  • Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals and their Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
  • Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities and be prepared to discuss details during Quality Control Progress Meetings.
