BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The project involved removing and disposing of the existing 480VAC Motor Control Center (MCC) and installing a new MCC, including starters, controls, and redundant feeder circuit breakers. The replacement was required for Auxiliary Distribution Board No. 1.
Scope of Work
Demolition and Disposal:
- Removal of Existing MCC: Safely remove and dispose of the existing motor control center.
- Asbestos and Lead Paint Abatement: Perform abatement procedures for asbestos and lead-based paint as per project specifications to ensure a safe removal process.
Installation of New MCC:
- New MCC Installation: Provide and install a new 480VAC motor control center, including all necessary starters, controls, and redundant feeder circuit breakers.
- Feeder Relocation: As indicated in the contract drawings, one of the battery charger feeders will be relocated from Auxiliary Distribution Board No. 1 to Auxiliary Distribution Board No. 3.
Quality Control:
- QC Management Services: TITAN provided quality control management services to oversee the project’s execution and ensure compliance with all specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
