BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Project Overview This Design-Build project at Fort Hunter Liggett involves comprehensive upgrades to Building 228. The project includes new computer systems design, electrical upgrades, automated system design, and integration services to modernize and enhance the facility’s functionality.

Scope of Work

  • Computer Systems Design Services:

    • System Planning: Develop detailed designs for new computer systems tailored to the facility’s requirements.
    • Infrastructure: Design the necessary infrastructure, including network cabling, server rooms, and workstations, to support the new computer systems.
    • Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new computer systems with existing infrastructure and systems.
  • Electrical Upgrades:

    • Power Distribution: Upgrade existing electrical systems to support new equipment and improved energy efficiency.
    • Lighting: Install new lighting systems, including energy-efficient options and enhanced lighting controls.
    • Power Quality: Improve power quality and reliability through upgrades to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
    • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical work meets current codes and standards for safety and performance.
  • Automated System Design:

    • Automation Planning: Design automated systems to enhance operational efficiency and control within Building 228.
    • System Integration: Integrate automated systems with existing infrastructure, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
    • Control Systems: Develop control interfaces and systems to easily manage and monitor automated functions.
  • Integration Services:

    • System Integration: Ensure all new systems, including computer, electrical, and automated systems, work seamlessly together.

Detailed Work Plan

  1. Pre-Design Phase:
