Pursuing this course alongside CQM-C #784 course, Construction Quality Control (QC) Managers will set the foreseeable stage for students’ successful careers.
Environmental Compliance Courses:
1. Manatee Observer Course
This course is intended for keeping note of the environmental threats upon endangered species. It’s a course meant to observe mammal species inhabiting near US coastal waters. The Manatee Observer Course is ideal for residents of Florida in the military, or are government employees.
2. Eastern Indigo Snake Observer
In compliance with the US Army Corps of Engineers, students learn enough about the rare indigenous Eastern Indigo Snake. There main task is to note what lands they’re found at, what they eat, and what threatens their very existence. The Eastern Indigo Snake Observer Course is specifically for the residents of Florida and Georgia. This course is perfect for highway superintendents, site safety personnel, and health officers.
3. Turbidity Monitoring
Turbidity monitoring (testing) is especially designed for those who are already aware of what the term ‘turbidity’ actually means. It lets you measure water clarity and sediment topography around the development regions. It’s an ideal course for personnel working in the marine, and dredging sector. Turbidity testing plays an important role in monitoring potential marine disturbances that may arise from construction, marine, and dredging operations. In absence of this imperative monitoring activity, operations around marine waterways may have negative impacts on our local environment.
Government Construction Safety Courses
1. Confined Space USACE-NAVFAC
This course is particularly design to motivate students to learn how to work in coordination in a confined space. Confined Space USACE-NAVFAC encourages in-depth understanding of construction activities, as it is faced with intimidating challenges. Correspondingly, grim rescue situations might arise in case of emergency occurrences. Therefore, you will learn how to identify construction hazards, and how you can alleviate them. Most importantly, it prepares you beforehand for impending risks you might have to face in confined spaces.
