BRIEF DESCRIPTION

BORDER WALL PROJECT – SAN DIEGO, CA (USACE FEDERAL CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT)

Titan Consultants provided Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) support for a federal border infrastructure project in San Diego, California. Moreover, the project was executed under a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) IDIQ task order construction program. Additionally, the work was delivered in partnership with AIS Infrastructure to support critical border security improvements.


PROJECT OVERVIEW

Furthermore, the project focused on the construction and enhancement of border infrastructure within a highly secure federal environment. In addition, activities included earthwork, structural installation, and controlled access operations. Consequently, strict compliance with federal safety and security standards remained essential throughout execution.

Moreover, coordination between field teams ensured smooth daily operations. Additionally, scheduling alignment supported continuous workflow across multiple construction phases. Therefore, project execution remained stable despite high-security constraints.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT (SSHO ROLE)

Titan Consultants implemented full SSHO oversight in accordance with EM 385-1-1 standards. Moreover, daily safety inspections were conducted to ensure hazard-free operations. Additionally, site-specific safety plans were reviewed and enforced throughout the project.

Furthermore, hazard identification and risk control measures were continuously applied. Consequently, incident prevention remained a top priority across all construction activities. In addition, toolbox meetings reinforced safety awareness among field personnel.
