BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Titan Consultants & Engineers provided Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) oversight for the Laundromat Project at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center in Hawaii. The project was executed under Contract No. 80ARC024F0013, part of IDIQ 80AFRC19D0004, with Weldin Construction, LLC (a subsidiary of the North Wind Group) serving as the prime contractor.
SSHO Oversight for NASA Construction Projects
This project involved the renovation and construction of laundry facilities, requiring strict adherence to OSHA regulations, NASA safety standards, and federal construction compliance. Titan’s SSHO monitored daily activities, implemented the Accident Prevention Plan (APP), conducted safety inspections, and ensured all work met federal construction safety requirements.

SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICER (SSHO) SCOPE OF WORK
Developed, implemented, and enforced the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and site-specific safety procedures.
Conducted daily safety inspections of all work areas, identifying hazards and unsafe conditions.
Led and coordinated toolbox talks, safety meetings, and safety briefings with site personnel.
Ensured compliance with OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1, NASA safety standards, and all contract safety requirements.
Monitored work activities for hazards, unsafe practices, or non-compliance, initiating corrective actions as needed.
Maintained all safety records, inspection logs, and incident reports in accordance with project and contract requirements.
Investigated incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, recommending corrective and preventive measures.
Supported emergency response planning, drills, and ensured readiness of all safety equipment.
Kept management and designated personnel informed of safety performance and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
